A First Aid Training Session was conducted today (13th October 2025 )for Classes VII, VIII, and IX by Ms. Rekha Sreekumar from the NGO ALERT, in collaboration with Ethiraj College for Women.

The session emphasized the importance of first aid, presented key accident statistics, and explained the sequence of actions following an accident, highlighting how timely first aid can save lives. Students also gained awareness about the Good Samaritan Law, the Golden Hour, Basic Life Support (BLS), and the six essential steps of CPR.

By the end of the session, students felt confident, informed, and equipped to respond effectively during emergencies
