We are proud to announce that Harishangar R., a student of Class VI at SRM Nightingale Matriculation Higher Secondary School, has achieved a remarkable milestone by having his innovative project “Bluetooth-Controlled Wheelchair” selected for the prestigious INSPIRE Awards – MANAK 2024–25, an initiative by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Harishangar’s project focuses on enhancing mobility solutions through smart technology. His prototype demonstrates how a wheelchair can be operated seamlessly via Bluetooth, offering improved independence for individuals with mobility challenges. This idea not only reflects creativity and technical understanding but also a deep sense of social responsibility at such a young age.
